Mummy Woman

I’m Cathy Oliver, mum to Alice and Charlie. The wonderful but brutal realities of first-time pregnancy, birth and new motherhood knocked me flat on my arse. Now I’ve rocked this mum gig for a while, I’m happy and confident in my identity and values as a mother. Still working on the woman bit.

I write about the whole shebang: pregnancy, birth, boobs, vaginas, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, relationships, work, love that makes you feel like you’re going to explode, and poo that actually does explode. I hope the odd sentence gives you a giggle, and, more importantly, makes you realise that you’re not alone.
